Hii there! As you've stepped into the so-called "admission war", I hope you take your time to think and make the best decisions for yourself. Ask yourself why you want to prepare for IBA, and then ask yourself whether you should. If you still proceed, try to figure out how to prepare for IBA. Then, research about what to learn, where to practice, and when to test. Let me help you out. All underlined texts here are links that redirect you to that information.

Why:
If you want to have a business degree, a fun university life, a secure career at a corporate 9-5, and enough free time to explore your interests, then preparing for IBA might be suitable for you.

Whether:
But should you prepare for IBA? If you can score atleast 30% in each section of the assessment test on this website without any preparation, then you might have a decent chance in this highly competitive exam. There are a lot of stats on the test result page to help you out with that decision.

How:
The best thing, in my opinion, would be to get a home tutor or join a batch by a good instructor.

Keep the following two criteria in mind to make a good decision:
1. If they did well on the IBA exam themselves. 2. If they prepared well themselves.

If these fit, they are more likely to be a good teacher as well.

You can reach out to me if you want to find a good home tutor in your area. I can refer someone good, as I know most of them.

If you're selecting a coaching centre, choose the nearest Mentors' branch, because commuting far will waste your time and energy. You should not compromise your self-prep for anything else.

What:
For practice questions, the IBA book itself will suffice. For Vocabulary, you can buy the book WordSmart I and II if you're not comfortable with the word lists provided in the book. Most people won't even complete the IBA book yet panic about 10 different resources. It's not necessary whatsoever. But if you're really try-hard like me, you can go for more:

Barron's SAT for Error Detection, Sentence Correction, and Sentence Completion.
GMAT Official Guide or Review (any) for Sentence Correction, Data Sufficiency, and Critical Reasoning.
GRE Big Book for Puzzles, Analogy, and Sentence Completion
Mentors' Math Question Bank for Math.
Word Smart I and II for Vocabulary.

Where:
After you've gone through the syllabus, you should sit for full-length mock tests to build your exam hall strategies so that you don't fumble on the big day. The best way to build this is by starting with the past papers of IBA. These are much easier than the recent question patterns. So they'll build your confidence and act as revision. Then there'll be full-length IBA-standard mock tests on this website with a live leaderboard and individual passing bars. For offline mock tests, you can enroll in the final mock test program by Magnus Academy. It starts about a month before the IBA exam, if I am not wrong.

When:

September-October: Practice the categories and subcategories you're weak in based on the assessment test. Karon ogulatei passing bar miss jawar chance beshi and best possibility of improvement. Search for classes on youtube. Google/ChatGPT the questions you can't solve. Get a tutor or join a batch if you want some additional help. After you learn the topic, practice the questions from a book or website. Then test yourself.
November: Start solving all the topics together through past papers/mock tests. Try to secure 40% marks in each section in every mock throughout.
December: Dhore rakho december e IBA exam hobe. Prepare accordingly.
